The embedded function hot button

Power manager
+
Suspend :
Execute "System Suspend" when the button is pressed. It sends the system to the sleep mode.
The system power policy manager will look up the Suspend button action in the current power policy
(by default, sleep) and take that action.

Wake Up :
Execute "System Wake Up" when the button is pressed again. It wakes up/powers up the system.

Power Down :
Execute "System Power Down" when the button is pressed. It powers down the system. The system
power policy manager will look up POWER DOWN button action in the current power policy
(by default, shutdown) and take that action.

Multimedia Extra Hot Key

Mute :
Press this button to mute sound from a CD or a video file. Press mute button again to resume sound.


Volume Down :
Press this button to decrease volume.


Volume Up :
Press this button to increase volume.


Previous :
Pressing this button to set media back by one track. Also during playback of a video file, this
button causes the player to rapidly reverse it's playback direction for as the button is depressed.
Press this button once to skid back to the beginning of current track.
Press this button twice to skid back to the beginning previous track.


Play/Pause :
Press this button to begin playing a CD or a video file (or to restart after pause). When the media is
playing, press this key to pause the playback, press it again to resume playback on current position.


Next :
Press this button to instruct the CD player to queue up beginning of the next track. During playback
in a video file, press this button to cause the player to fast forward for as long as the button is being
depressed.


Stop :
Press this button to stop playing a CD or a video file.


Eject :
Press this button to open or close the CD-ROM tray.


Rew/Play :
Press this button to skip backward to the beginning of recording, then automatically play to
the end of recording.


Rec/Stop :
Press this button to start recording on Windows( Sound Recorder, press it again to stop recording.
You can save your recorded file in voice format, and use this file as a voice mail on Internet.


Sleep :
Press this button to activate screen saver and the extra indicator will be blinking.


Cut :
Press this button performs "cut" operation.


Copy :
Press this button performs "copy" operation.


Paste :
Press this button performs "paste" operation.


Rotate :
Depress this button to switch the activated windows. If you have activated several applications,
you can copy and paste easily between them by using this hot key.


Close :
Press this button close current application.


My Doc :
Press this button. Open "My document" folder.


DOS :
Press this button. Open "MS DOS" prompt.


Game :
Press this button to launch a designated game.


WWW :
Press this button to launch default Internet browser.


Calc :
Press this button to call Windows own calculator.


X'fer :
Press this button to transfer a calculated result (cut then paste) to editor (Notepad, Word, Excel...etc)


Menu/? :
Toggle this button will display a 3D hot keys menu. Click left-button of a mouse on "?" to open help file.

M/Mode :
Press this button perform Multimedia Double key mode ON/OFF function.

Audio :
Press this button to call Audio application and begin playing a CD


Video :
Press this button to call Video application and begin playing a CD


AUX :
Press this button to launch a designated AUX.


Suspend :
This button allows you to reduce power consumption. This feature turns off the monitor display and
puts the system into power saving mode after a brief of inactivity. The system will resume when you
move the mouse or click it button or press any key on your keyboard.


Word :
Press this button. Opens designated Word processor.


Scanner :
Press this button to launch a designated Scanner application.


Scan :
Press this button to call scandisk application.


Dial :
Press this button. Opens dial-up windows.


Search :
Press this button to call searches files.


Minimize :
Press this button. Reduces open windows to task bar.


Restore :
Press this button. Restores windows to previous size & location.


Edit :
Press this button. Opens designated editor. (Notepad, Wordpad)


Save :
Press this button performs "Save" operation.


Print :
Press this button performs "Print" operation.


Fax :
Press this button to launch a designated Fax.


Redo :
Press this button performs "Redo" operation.


Undo :
Press this button performs "Undo" operation.


Scroll Up :
Press this button. Run page scroll up for windows.


Scroll Down :
Press this button. Run page scroll down for windows.


Scroll Left :
Press this button. Run page scroll left for windows.


Scroll Right :
Press this button. Run page scroll right for windows.
